I decided about ten minutes ago that I’ll headed out to the family ranch for the night. My mom’s birthday was Wednesday so the fam is linking up to celebrate. I got her a gift that i’m very excited about. Should be a lot of fun.
I’ll be rolling back into town sometime Saturday afternoon. No real plans after that. The Homie has been in Florida for about 10 days and I miss that little shit like crazy. He gets back Sunday.

Today we are saying goodbye to sleep, carefree nights, and clean floors but all is well because we’re picking up our puppy this afternoon. Could not be more excited. (exclusive pics will be available in the Houston groupme).
Tomorrow we’re going to take it easy and enjoy the puppy, maybe fire up the grill for dinner. Sunday it’s more of the same at watching Tiger’s collapse Bridgestone. Have a blessed weekend y’all.

Much like pregaming a date, pregaming the MTP is a move I can endorse. Obviously don’t get too trashed since, well, you’re meeting the parents and they’ll most likely approve of you and get you a round or two.

I just found out my boss took an ass chewing because I stuck my foot in my mouth while talking to a divisional manager. Looks like I’ll be drinking this weekend.
Helping a friend and his lady move into their new place tomorrow morning and afternoon, and then going to a friend and his lady’s house warming party afterwards. Unfortunately, I do not have a lady to go along with the theme.
Today is the first of two moving weekends. Found a much better apartment with a gorgeous view of literally the whole eastern part of SF. Luckily the new apartment will be so high up that I won’t see any of the cracked out hobos taking a shit unless I look really closely. Starting things off tomorrow morning with a trip to IKEA to find a new couch and kitchen table, followed by moving and more moving.

My brother just moved to Bernal Heights, and fuck me if the view didn’t make me want to almost pay 3 times our current rent just to have that. I was previously all excited about our mountain view (with a parking lot and lots of industry in between) and it’s not even close to the bay/hills view.
This new place isn’t that much than our current place so we’re luckily not breaking the budget and are getting so much more in return. It’s not rent controlled, but the rents in SF have stabilized over the last year or two so I’m not too worried about it skyrocketing when it’s time to renew the lease last year.

Don’t need any, there’s plenty of them throughout the city and near my work and I see them all the time on my daily commute. At least this way I won’t be anywhere near them once I get home.
I’m 100% serious because for those who don’t know, there’s a massive homeless/drug use problem in San Francisco. Seeing used needles, human excrement or people shooting up in public is a pretty common occurrence here.
NPR reported the feces and needles in the streets in SF rivals that of third-world countries. Congrats on high rent and stepping through shit and needles on the way to work!

We finally got all the patio furniture, grill stuff, plants, etc. for our new place. Going to mix up some sangria and smoke some pork butt and stare longingly at our lime tree waiting for the limes to ripen.
Going to see the parents this weekend. It’s my Dad’s birthday, gonna chill on his new pontoon boat to catch dinner and a buzz.
My mom comes into town tonight and tomorrow we’re buying my wedding dress. Popping some bubbly this weekend!
I have four piano gigs and then I am selling sweet corn for my family because they are all busy. I am seeing some fat stacks in my future.
