Hello again friends. You know exactly what day it is Kings and Queens. It’s Micah Monday. Honk Honk!
Last week, the loyal readers of postgradproblems.com got a double dose of content from your boy. Micah Monday+ Pizza Friday content? Wow. I did that. I did it for y’all.
You know what else I did? I lied to each and every one of you. I apologize.
Friday, I promised to eat pizza wherever the readers decided.
Bufalina won the poll, and it’s an excellent choice. However, we decided not go to there as it’s far and we were trying to take it easy Friday night. Instead of going to the 2nd choice, Pinthouse Pizza, we opted to hit the 3rd place offering, Cane Rosso.
See, Saturday was a big day for my gf and me. We started the day with a swim at Deep Eddy. As I mentioned Friday, your mans has been crushing his workouts lately, and the cold water was refreshing and rejuvenating. I made her take some photos of me wearing some fly new gear from Man Outfitters. Maybe you’ll see these pics in some killer promotional posts soon.
The biggest event Saturday was my parents throwing an extravagant “Welcome to Texas” party for Booboo. It was nice! Dave and his wife came. So did Will and Dillon and Barrett and his gf. Big T-Shirt Matt came through too. So did our man Connor Moore. Ad Brad and his gf and her friend came by and talked about spin classes they like. My mom made everything from scratch including slider rolls and mini taco shells. The pimento cheese was a big hit. It was a lituation for sure!
We even went to Woodrow’s afterwards to watch the game (which wasn’t very compelling). Intern Kline joined us there. Wow. Big Saturday. We even got gassed up by a couple of fans. Always a big thrill. Shouts to those guys. A great day for Daddy!
Back to Friday though. Booboo made an executive decision to go to Cane Rosso. It was a good decision too. We got two pizzas (you know I have individually wrapped leftovers in the freezer) and drank some red wine. She loves a Pinot Noir and I’m starting to warm up to that style.
I wanted to get a salad, but my sister informed us that the salads there are now “trash,” so we just got the pies and the wine. We went for the secret menu classic, the Honey Bastard as well as the Luana. Really good pizza. The gf really likes pizzas with honey and the Honey Bastard delivered big time. Yeah buddy!
So, I’d like to apologize to everyone for letting you down. Soon, we will hit date night at Bufalina. And when we do, I will share the experience with you, the fans. Thanks for reading, and until next time, buh bye..
