It’s the weekend before Will, Dave, Dan, Big T-Shirt Matt and I head to Ponte Vedra Beach for The PLAYERS. For that reason, it’s going to be a fairly lowkey one for your boy, and I assume the other guys, too. Tonight, we are going to a dinner for Big T-Shirt Matt’s wife. It’s her birthday. Bars afterwards? It really is hard to say.
On Saturday, I will be heading to the ranch for some much needed family time after a really weird week. Should be a fun weekend before a very fun week.

The college gang is getting back together for our traditional “tequila only” Cinco De Mayo party tomorrow. I’ve never been more excited but nervous in my life.
Sunday we’re driving back home to hopefully recover enough to be a functioning adult on Monday. Have a blessed weekend y’all.

I’ll be spending my weekend eating Mexican food like Juevos Rancheros and chimichanga jalepenos burritos and my bung hole will be exploding like a nuclear bomb all weekend long.
For the first time in a while, I have no concrete plans this weekend. I might play golf, I might get drunk, or I might just play fortnite all weekend. No idea at this point and couldn’t be happier about it.
Why not all 3?
Derby Day / Cinco De Mayo house party tomorrow. Should be a nice reminder of how much my drinking skills have deteriorated since college.
The wife is taking the baby to a baby shower and I’m not required to go, so doing a long gym session, maybe the driving range, and then a patio/margarita cinco de mayo solo celebration until they’re done.
Well, um actually a pretty nice little Saturday. Moving out of the roomies’ house in the suburbs, and moving into an apartment in Chicago with some friends from college. Maybe Bed, Bath and Beyond, I don’t know.
Cinco de Mayo Pool Party Saturday where a girl that I have been dating is meeting my friends for the first time. The blend of mom jokes and general debauchery will hopefully not scare her away. Other than that taking it easy

This will be somewhere between my 12th-15th time seeing them, but first time in a couple years so I’m p excited. WCG kicks ass too, it’ll be my third time seeing him.
Tailgatin’ at Keeneland for the Derby, rain or shine. Going to attempt to balance bourbon and tequila, as well.

Early run tomorrow for the half marathon I’m running next month (only mentioning due to a Charlie article relevancy). Cinco de Mayo drinking/taco specials the rest of day while preventing a shameful black out.
