This picture is awesome but it has absolutely nothing to do with my plans this weekend, because I actually have none. I have nothing to do except chill with The Homie. We’ll come up with something, though.
The weather is supposed to be nice so I might take him to hit golf balls with me at the range and chip around the putting green. I need to see if this kid is going to take to golf like I hope he will. Out here trying to get The Homie a scholarship.
Might go to Barton Springs, too. Might ride that train and have a picnic and shit. Really it hard to say.

After a full year of clawing for a better job, I just got an offer from a fantastic company 10 mins. away from my place with a hefty pay raise. I’ve got a free month of May ahead of me replete with the Kentucky Derby, a fraternity brother’s wedding, time with the folks, and tearing it up in DC with my college buds.
Beers will be had this weekend in vast & frightening quantities.

Rodeo goat burgers. Salsa Limon has amazing tacos (started out as a food truck years ago). Botanical Gardens (a lot of wedding proposals happen here). West 7th has all the bars and stuff. And of course a tour of the beautiful TCU campus where yours truly got himself educated and stuff.
My old stomping grounds, enjoy, Will. I think I heard you say on Thursday’s TB you were looking for pizza — Cane Rosso or Pizza Snob. Can’t go wrong with either one.
Skip out on Joe T’s. It’s trash and it’s only a tourist trap for the patio. Sundance Square is always nice for a date night. Highly suggest checking out W Magnolia too. Big street fair on Sunday if you have time to check it out, if not you still need to go to Heim’s BBQ.
100% disagree. Food is pretty good to me although most think it’s average, but the margs and patio cannot be beat. I have yet to find something that even comes close to it.
Girlfriend’s out of town so I’m having a solo weekend. In other words, I will sit on the couch all day tomorrow, watch TV, not shower and not do the dishes. Can’t wait.
Make sure you replace the jergins before she gets back.
All kidding aside, I recommend spending some productive time by yourself, completely shut off from the outside world.
Tonight, staying low key and watching a movie (TBD). Tomorrow, beer event in the afternoon followed by a date that I will likely by drunk for from said beer event. Sunday, brunch/beer date. Kings stay kings. Enjoy the weekend, folks.
The wife and I recently closed on our first house, so this will be our third straight Saturday heading to Home Depot. Second time in a row we are going just to check out closet doors. Then hitting up a dealership since I need a car if we are moving out to the burbs. Gotta keep it kid friendly though, because we have one of those on the way. So, should be a pretty nice little Saturday.
