A little behind the curtain action for you here: I usually identify the people who appear in this column by scrolling through Twitter for stories of disaster from the weekend. However, as I’m sitting here on Sunday night, the last thing I want to do is go on Twitter, as that I’m trying to steadfastly avoid all details of the Stormy Daniels 60 Minutes interview, and that’s all anyone appears to be tweeting about. But I am a dedicated professional, so I’ve weeded through all of the discussion of no-condom-use and magazine spanking just for you. Let’s get to it, shall we?
Justin Bieber
It’s pretty rare that the Biebs is included in this column when he’s completely blameless, but in this instance, that’s the case.
Bieber was driving his Mercedes G-Class (base price: $123,600) on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on Friday when he was rear-ended by another driver. Photos from the scene show damage to the other car (a Range Rover), but not much to the Biebermobile. Cops were summoned by one of the car’s On-Star systems, but while Justin and the other driver did exchange info, no police report was filed…which likely means Bieber wasn’t too much of a douche about being hit. Maybe there’s hope for this guy yet. [via TMZ]
Grayson Allen
We’ve got another repeat visitor in this column here, but probably one who is probably not redeemable: Grayson Allen. The noted dirty player got his comeuppance on Sunday when Duke lost in overtime to Kansas, with it made just a little bit sweeter since Allen’s last-second effort was this close to taking the win.
During the last seconds of regular time in this Elite Eight matchup, the Jayhawks tied it on a three from shooting guard Svi Mykhailiuk. Kansas was up 85-81 in overtime when Allen missed a floater to win at the buzzer:

Too bad, so sad, rip-off Christian Laettner. The only downside to this loss is I have to listen to that stupid “Rock Chalk” bullshit. [via SBNation]
All The Browsers Except Chrome
Why? Because once everyone hears this game-changing news, no one will be using any browser except Chrome.
From Google’s notes to developers regarding the forthcoming Chrome 66:
Autoplay is now allowed only when either the media won’t play sound, after the user clicks or taps on the site, or (on desktop) if the user has previously shown an interest in media on the site.
Meaning that videos with audio will no longer audio play when you visit a site. You don’t have to worry about your boss hearing Stephen A. Smith’s voice when you make a mid-day visit to ESPN.com or the soothing tones of Anderson Cooper when you decide to catch up on the news on CNN on your laptop during that strategy meaning.
So go forth and download Chrome 66, my multi-tasking friends. And sorry Firefox, you’re out of the game. [via Mashable]
Billy Busch
To be clear, I’m talking about Billy Busch, the Anheuser-Busch heir, not Billy Bush, disgraced Access Hollywood host. I want to be super distinct about which one punched a sixth-grader.
Busch, the 58-year-old great grandson of Budweiser scion Adolphus Busch, allegedly assaulted the 11-year-old, who supposedly hit Busch’s son during a basketball practice in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
According to the police report:”Mr. Busch pushed [the boy] into a wall at the base of a stairwell resulting in [the boy] hitting the back of his head against the wall. At that time, [the boy’s] nose began to bleed.”
Busch’s lawyer issued a statement, saying, Busch’s son was “bullied — actually sucker-punched — by a much larger middle school student . . . during a school basketball practice. School personnel failed to react, so [Busch] did what every parent would have done in that situation.’’
Um, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I’m pretty sure most parents wouldn’t jump in and hit a kid. But what do I know? Either way, Busch is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday on a charge of assault. [via New York Post]
Golden State Fans
Warriors fans were celebrating on Friday night, as Steph Curry returned to the court after missing six games due to an ankle sprain. The party was shortlived, however, as Curry suffered a knee injury in the 3rd quarter when fellow Warrior JaVale McGee landed on his left leg during a play:

An MRI on Saturday revealed a Grade 2 MCL sprain that will have Curry out for at least three weeks; Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said Sunday there’s “no way” Curry will be back in time for the first round of the playoffs. [via Bleacher Report] .
Re: “Rock Chalk” bullshit….it’s absolutely insufferable to live in Kansas City but not be a KU fan right now.
I’m leaving town till they lose.
I guess I’d have to decide in the moment, but if some douche kid was beating on mine I would probably give him hands too. But maybe not an 11 year old? IDK.
If your kid gets his ass beat by his dad enough, he won’t be afraid to get his ass beat by a kid that’s smaller than his dad. Then he’ll throw his own hands.
Bieber still took an L with losing Gomez yet again
I mean the family elephant, Bud, died last week at Grant’s Farm (see STL media or the kraftig instagram). I’d be sad too but why take it out on a sixth grader. And the elephant show was one of the best parts of Grant’s Farm as a kid.
Fuckin JaVale….
