Breaking news: we’ve made a few changes on the site recently. If you’re viewing via mobile or desktop, you either have, or will notice a few updates. Clear your cache. I’m not saying it’s a game-changer, but I certainly like what’s happening here. Let’s break it down:
1. Wall posts will be prominently featured on the home page. Now you don’t have to go looking for the “WALL” tab anymore. What a day.
2. Columns and News categories are gone. Laaaaaay. Written pieces are now categorized as Articles. Use the ‘Articles’ Category for written pieces.
3. ‘Grams & Tweets will now appear in the feed. Not all of them, of course. We wouldn’t hit you with a Chainsmokers tweet from Will as you scroll down the feed. That’d be reckless. But if there’s a fuego tweet that needs to be discussed, or an Instagram from a certain site founder that needs to hit 4-digit likes, it’s probably going up. We’re hoping for more engagement because that’s what’s hot in 2018.
4. Videos will be in the feed. This includes podcast videos, because what’s the point of growing a viking beard if the people will never see it?
There may be a few tweaks here and there, but that’s the meat of the deal. A nice medium-rare porterhouse of transparency served up from your friends on the blog. Please post any questions, comments, or concerns in the comments, or email our developer, Justin. As always, email Micah for mouse pad inquiries. For all my app guys and gals out there, updates are coming soon..
Will isn’t hoping for more engagement in 2018.
BRING BACK THE FORUMS!!!

change is bad
Hey Dave the app is really really really bad now.
I am sure you guys know that and are working on it. And the mobile site is probably wayyy better. But a large majority of us are just gonna stay on the app and complain anyways.
– Thanks!
There’s a bug causing these app issues that we should have fixed this morning. The full app update will roll out in a week or so.
Excited for Duda’s upcoming article about how trash the new update is
Why isn’t there dating app integration yet?

The Dunder Mifflin Infinity Web site also includes a social networking feature, which Ryan claims is to create “A one stop shop consumer experience. You’re chatting with your friends, you’re talking about the latest music, about the election; all of it is happening in our virtual paper store.”
Yes. The social networking feature of the Dunder Mifflin Infinity website was infiltrated by sexual predators.

I think articles should be featured by author’s last name in alphabetical order. That just makes the most sense.
I could support this
I support either option.
Ditto
You all suck
Could be worse

You know what would’ve been nice? A button that would let you edit your comments in case you’d posted them and then realized that you made a typo. But I understand that these things are hard to implement.
Yeah, NO ONE would abuse that.
Couldn’t you put in a time limit (say…15 mins after a post) and you could only edit within that window?
I don’t know, man. I blog for a living. Just spell bettre.
better*
Or just make it show edit history like FB does.
SBNation has like 90 second time limit that works pretty well.
Came here to say the same thing.
What about a one edit limit per comment?
Go hump a pie Jim.
Either go with a 90 sec edit timer on all new post or go with a preview button first, then a post button. Simple & Easy.
Maybe allow editing at first, but once someone replies to your comment, then it becomes locked?
That is a problem that literally no one with Disqus (which has an edit button) as their comment platform of choice seems to have. Why is that something that’s genuinely concerning to you?
The technology is not there yet.
A lot of people are saying 2018 is the year of notifications
Web push notifications are now on the list
Straight from the horse’s mouth, folks
But for real… that would be dope.
Am I the only one where everything looks wonky on the app? All the text is scrunched together and half the things I click on make the app crash
Sorry about that. We should have this fixed this morning.
Me too! It’s driving me crazy.
Same
The feed is really cluttered on the app. Are you guys planning on adding an articles tab at the bottom?
I still can’t see gif comments in the app!
