The whole squad is committed to keeping it lowkey tonight. The whole damn squad. I couldn’t even pitch a casual dinner without getting shot down. “I’m turning my phone off right when I leave work so no one can convince me to leave my house tonight,” said deFries behind his stupid glasses. What I’m saying is we’ll probably do a dinner somewhere tonight.
Tomorrow morning it’s tailgate time, as the Pokes are coming to town for the 11 a.m. time slot. After a couple hours of sipping one single Avión, The Homie and I are hitting the road for the family ranch. It’s your boy’s birthday weekend and I can’t wait to throw some back with the family. Should be all kinds of fun.
