It’s a regular, non-phone bank day, so I’m excited to actually be able to get work done. Also, I’ve heard from one of the higher ups at the office that I am likely in line for a promotion within the next several weeks as we plan to open a second office and need someone to run it (knock wood).

When a jet plane reaches 620 mph (100 km/h), the length of the plane is one atom shorter than the original length.
Neat. I would have thought it would be longer.
Another fun fact: back in 2001, cell phones couldn’t make outgoing calls while on aircrafts in flight due to altitude but most importantly due to the planes speed (especially at abrupt low altitude descents) because the “handoff of the call signal from one cell tower to the next couldn’t happen fast enough to accommodate for the plane’s rate of speed thus resulting in the call not being able to be made. Looking back at this fact, you will now be armed with the adequate knowledge to realize that all of those voicemails from passengers on the planes used in the 9/11 attacks couldn’t have happened while on the planes themselves…I will leave you to the ruminating thoughts in your head now

Best body style Tahoe they ever made. Uncle had an old z71 that hit probably 180k before he let it go. Loved that truck. Unfortunately the new ones start at like 52k so that’s out of the question
I wish mine was a Green Z71. Mine is just a tan LTZ. But I’ve got leather seats and a sunroof and that’s all I really care about.
