Moving is awful, but getting settled into your new space is so rewarding. And it’s been a long time coming for your boy. I’m spending the weekend packing up the old crib in the burbs and preparing to move to the new one in the city. Prime location. Catch me poolside all summer.

Tomorrow I fly out of D.C. to spend a week in the great state of Texas. First stop is SPI for the 4th then ATX for the end of the week. I am beyond excited. I haven’t been back to Texas since the beginning of the year. I’m going to drink so much Shiner and eat all the food.

I said the types of Shiner I can’t get in DC. Shiner blonde isn’t sold in the D.C. area. I can get regular and the seasonal Shiner anywhere.
I’ll be engaging in copious amounts of golf, swimming, and consumption of meat and alcohol this weekend.
As for moving, ask 1 or 2 guys you can always count on. Avoid making them pack boxes and just have them help move things. If you have a housewarming party or some such event, grab a case and treat them.

Headed to the Home Sea for the weekend. An old buddy from years ago is going through some shit right now but I’m excited to meet his wife and toddler calf and hopefully raise his spirits a little too.
Asking a friend for help moving is fair game as long as you fully intend to A) Reciprocate if they ask B) pay them in their beer of choice or C) Preferably combine of A and B
