As someone who’s never proposed to anyone, I’ve always wondered why proposals are considered difficult or nerve-wracking. By the time you’ve committed yourself to spending thousands of dollars on a ring, it seems like you’d have a pretty good idea of how it’s going to go.
But when Darrell Hamilton Jr. was attempting to propose to his girlfriend, Rheanna Faye, things went completely south the moment he took out the ring for the big moment.
Hamilton took her on a plane ride, and being a photojournalist, he documented the entire excursion with a camera in the corner of the plane. They were probably going to set it to an Ed Sheeran song and show it to their grandchildren, but then he got motion sickness and booted all over the back of the plane in HD.
The good news: she said yes. The bad news: he probably had to pay the dreaded “$150 for puking in the back of an Uber” fee, not that I know anything about that. .
