Here’s a true story: I got absolutely annihilated last night. I wasn’t trying to. I wasn’t planning on it. The gameplan going in was a couple social drinks. Nope. I got destroyed. I feel beat down, like I went twelve rounds in a prize fight against someone of equal fighting ability, and it ended in a draw. Just totally depleted.
I’ll be in bed by 10:30 tonight, which isn’t fun, but tomorrow I’m heading out to the ranch, where fun will be had. I listed my house this week and showings are booking up fast for this weekend so I’ll need to be out of it anyway. The ranch kind of worked out perfectly. Whole fam going. That’s all, though. Very lowkey weekend for your boy.

My roommate says he’s going to fight me tonight because I told him his girlfriend can’t live at our apartment for free anymore. Also, I’m going to drink beer with my friends.
Been there, way to put the foot down.
Two weeks ago, she walked in on him cheating. She gave him a black eye, broke a bunch of his stuff, threatened to kill herself, and kept our whole apartment complex up until 4am screaming bloody murder. They’re back together, but I’m the bad guy.
