There’s truly no worse day than January 1st. The holidays? They’re over. Work? It’s looming over your head. Things to look forward to? Few and far between, unless you count one long weekend in January and overspending on dinner in February for a made-up holiday. The post-holiday depression is a real thing, but luckily, Netflix has everything you need in order to get over it starting on January 1st.
The big hitters, for me at least, are Braveheart, Ocean’s 12, Caddyshack, Boogie Nights, the new Bill Burr stand-up special, and the most recent season of Always Sunny. Sure, you could probably watch all of those in one hungover version of your New Year’s Day, but that’s why the space the releases out.

January-February is without a doubt the worst time of year. Christmas is over and now we’re left with cold and slushy roads, and fucking Valentines Day. Only until March with St. Patrick’s Day, March Madness, and Girl Scout Cookies does the year start to hit its stride.
Also fuck these Netflix selections.
Bee Movie. Need I say more?
The YouTube clip where they double the speed of the movie every time they say “bee” is pretty legendary.
Especially great because it lessens the amount of time that I have to spend watching Bee Movie.

I have to wait until the end of January for a new Bill Burr special??
I don’t care what they bring on unless they’re keeping Saved By the Bell
We’re supposed to get through post holiday depression with the worst of the 3 Ocean’s movies? That’s cold Netflix.
Whatever AMC plays oceans 11 almost every fucking day in the summer and HBO has been doing the same with 13
100% have Netflix because I can’t afford the cable subscription. PGP.
They could’ve at least gave us Oceans 13. That was better than 12…
Looks like I’ll have Caddyshack, Braveheart, and Boogie Nights memorized just in time to show off for Valentine’s Day.
I could not be more excited about Caddyshack
Of course the Bill Burr special is last to come out.
Recently subscribed to HBO Now. One of the best decisions I’ve made. Netflix has some good shows that I want to continue to watch, but HBO is just killing it right now.
