You might want to check into that. Our state has a law requiring them to.
Yeah, that’s the point.
In fact, it relates to my post from yesterday because he forwarded us the email saying we could leave early but added his own note discouraging us from doing it.
Might be worth checking in with HR about this.

Not if she would normally leave work in time to be at her poll before closing. So if the polls close at 7:00 and your normally leave at 5:00 then they don’t have to let you leave. Same thing goes for coming in late. It’s a dick move, but not illegal.
