You have to give it to the guy – the owner of Dublin’s White Moose Café knows how to drum up controversy that benefits his restaurant. Last October, he masterfully trolled vegans who were protesting his restaurant. Meanwhile, just a few days ago, he publicly declared that you’ll need a doctor’s note if you wish to request anything made gluten-free. And now? He’s doing the bravest (and dumbest) thing he’s done yet – take on a breastfeeding mom.
He declared in August that he was implementing a B.Y.O.B. policy for children – bring your own boob. While allowing breastfeeding in his café, he was going to charge a corkage fee. And believe me, if you want to generate some buzz, coming at breastfeeding mothers is the way to do it. They’re commonly called “lactivists,” and one of them came after him because he did not credit her for the photo he used in his original breastfeeding post. He posted her angry message to his Facebook page, and now the comment section has erupted.
While he doesn’t actually have to credit her on his Facebook page legally, he’s since added a tongue-in-cheek credit to his original photo which just further trolls the original photographer. I’d prefer he actually took a stand against the Fat Jewishes (the meme stealer, not fat Jewish people) of the world rather than breastfeeding moms, but it’s highly doubtful that will happen.
If I’ve learned one thing about publicly speaking your mind online, it’s that you prooooobably shouldn’t tell women not to breastfeed in public. Just sayin’. .

This guy doesn’t know how fair use works now how Google search works, and he’s pretty shitty about breastfeeding, but dammit if I don’t love him trolling vegans and people without Celiac disease who are riding the gluten-free trend.
One of the comments on the Facebook post actually shows the image he used coming up as “Labeled for reuse” without a watermark.
Opening the original post at work and getting flagged for exposed female nipple. PGP
If it out in public, I’m looking.
Absolutely. Nothing more exciting than a baby having a meal.
