It’s not entirely clear what the demographic is that comprises this “Bernie Or Bust” crowd, but it’s been a bit of a black mark on an otherwise very upbeat and emotional Democratic National Convention. I’ve watched both the RNC and DNC closely, and while I found many things profoundly ridiculous with the RNC, there wasn’t anything quite like watching people openly sob when Bernie Sanders got up to the podium on Monday night in Philly and told his supporters to vote for Hillary.
To care this much about a candidate is noble and I respect it, but if I’m not mistaken hasn’t Bernie Sanders and the rest of the country known for a few weeks now that he wasn’t going to win? I don’t understand how the “Bernie Or Bust” folks can sit at the DNC and just decide they won’t vote for Hillary Clinton. In any case, Seth Myers has a very good take on all of this and it’s worth a watch.
The alternative to Clinton is what exactly? Electing Czar Trump? That doesn’t sound like a great idea, but what do I know, I’m just some asshole with a keyboard..

People should stop taking political advice from late night TV hosts.
“Ya, but John Stewart just like “gets” me.”
It’s like fighting fascism with fascism in a run down amusement park that has really over inflated admission costs and a global advertising budget and all the people get to gather and cheer and “vote” for which mascot is the best all while the park investors keep sucking the place dry. In this park, the employers are the employees and the employees are the guests and the guests are just a number used to make more numbers in the form of arcade tickets that are exclusively for the ones condescendingly handing out the meaningless prizes to everyone to keep them distracted and satisfied.
this is… so on point.
Wait. Another political opinion from a celebrity who’s out of touch with anything that normal Americans experience? Tell me more, pander to me more.
Wait, so you don’t want to vote for Hillary because Sarah Silverman said that she’d make a great president?
I was totally pro-Trump before that comment she made. Now since Sarah told me that, I’m voting Hillary!!!!!111
I get that everyone has an opinion, but I’m tired of seeing political stuff of PGP. I’m bombarded with this stuff on every social media platform from both sides. I come here for solace and to waste time at work.
There is a third option, since it’s clear that most people don’t care for either of the “main” two candidates.
