If snuggling up with your pup and Netflix queue has you feeling a little lonely this Valentine’s Day weekend, it may be time to book a trip to a more single-friendly location. Travel and Leisure recently released a list of the top 20 cities for singles, with every destination specializing in all of the things that singles love: a wide array of nightlife, restaurants, and local attractions and events, such as a killer music scene or a wide variety of arts festivals. Whether planning to stay single and enjoy the scene with friends or explore the city with an infinite number of new first date options, these are the cities that you definitely need to check out.

….ok, so some of these might not be the best places for singles to live, but if you’re looking to hold onto your bachelor pad a little while longer while looking for new partners, you might want to book a vacation to Vegas, NOLA, or Miami.
As we’ve already attested, both Houston and Nashville are awesome for millennials, so you may actually want to start putting in some job applications there, with my sincerest apologies to the lifetime residents. If you’re having a hard time deciding where to go, just close your eyes and pick a spot, any spot, in the South – not only is it the home to the top 8 cities listed, but I hear it’s slightly easier to meet someone when not faced with the choice between staying in pajamas or going out to a bar in -8 degree weather. Pull out your shorts and your credit card – it’s time for a vacation. .

Really… I mean really… Can we just stop with the “Top cities for young singles/post grads/20-somethings/ quarter-life crisis victims” for 1 full week.
It’s easy money since all of these lists are basically the same. Just talk about how Houston, Nashville & Austin are awesome, how expensive NYC, Boston & San Francisco are and how you’re really rooting for Detroit to make a comeback.
Not to mention every list has the same collection of cities just in a slightly different order
Kind of amazing to me that one of the worst places in the world is number one on this list.
Cocaine, guidos, and English as a second language… now that’s a millennial paradise.
Really into lists about cities aren’t ya
Just like Kevin Garnett is to the Timberwolves and Vince Carter is to the Grizzlies. Recruitment Chair is PGP’s relic from a previous era that is still around for some reason
Brian loved #12…
Living in Kansas City, KS. PGP.
Why haven’t you given us “The top 20 cities for Millenials to weep in” yet?
Cleveland, Providence, BALTIMORE!!!??? wtf?
