Megan Fox Is Joining The Cast Of “New Girl” While Zooey Deschanel Has Her Baby

If you’ve ever partaken in “Netflix & Chill,” which I think is something the kids are doing these days, the chances are you’ve watched the hell out of some New Girl. The cast has been in flux since season where Coach (who was played by Damon Wayons) left to pursue Happy Endings only to come back a couple seasons later. And now? He’s gone again.

Well, now that Zooey Deschanel is going to be on maternity leave, we’re getting a doozy of a replacement with Megan Fox being added as the roommates.

Per Cosmo:

The ​New Girl ​loft dwellers are getting a new roommate! TV Line reports that Megan Fox will appear on the show as a woman who sublets Jess’s room while Jess (Zooey Deschanel) is sequestered on jury duty. The real Zooey Deschanel will be on maternity leave, so everybody wins. Megan’s character is named Reagan and works as a pharmaceutical sales rep, and though it’s not yet known how she’ll interact with the guys, there is a 99 percent chance Nick will hit on her.

Earth to Cosmo: of course, Nick will hit on her. It’s Megan fucking Fox. It’s not like she’s going to be funny or anything. She’s clearly here for sexual chemistry and lockerroom talk. Here, I’ll call what happens right now: Jake will be jaw-droppingly into her while she acts oblivious to it. Schmidt will be shielding his eyes from her during every episode because of Cece (who hates her). And she’ll be weirdly into Winston despite Winston not thinking she’s hot because Winston is a weirdo who only likes his cat. Boom, nailed it.

And because it’s Friday, use this news as an opportunity to enjoy The Best Of Schmidt.
