Are you currently deep in the corporate hustle but looking for a way to diversify? Do you have untapped creative potential? Your friends here at PGP are currently looking for remote writers who are able to consistently submit well-written content to be shared with the world via the miracle of the internet. The Grandex family (PGP,TFM,TSM) is littered with in-house writers who got their start as remotes, and the time has come to expand the team.
If you’re interested in earning a little extra cash to pay off your loans, or maybe to buy that ring your lady keeps non-discreetly referencing in front of you, or you’d like a career in writing but you’re unsure of how to get your foot in the door, we want to hear from you.
What are we looking for? Any commentary relatable to young adults. This includes but is not limited to:
∙well-crafted titles that your friends would want to click on if they saw it buried in their newsfeed between twenty other pieces of content
We need writers who can provide creative and insightful commentary on pop culture stories as they happen. Hot takes are strongly encouraged. Generic coverage need not apply.
What we don’t want:
∙overly depressing content (self-deprecating is good, though)
∙comparing and contrasting the differences between college and the “real world.”
∙overly political material
If you’re just looking to submit the occasional rant about your shitty boss, don’t waste your time. We need people who have the time to contribute weekly content to help our site grow. Also, your ability to submit content on the weekend will be viewed as a plus.
If you think you’re the ideal candidate to write for PGP, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line, “PGP WRITER: [your first and last name],” along with one hundred words about why you should write for PGP. I will instruct you from there. Applicants must be prepared to prove they are quality writers by providing an original writing sample, which I will provide details on in my response..
